Privacy
This site belongs to The Welsh Burton Group. This page explains what happens to the information you share with us through it.
What the site collects
Nothing, unless you send it to us. The site runs no analytics and loads no third party scripts, fonts or trackers. It sets one cookie, and only for members of the network who sign in (see The network).
When you write to us
The contact form asks only for what is on the form. When you send it, it is kept by Netlify Forms, the form service of our web host, and reaches us as an email. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else, and we do not sell or share it.
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email jesse@welshburtongroup.com.
The network
In Good Company is a private directory for people we invite. For each person on its list we keep the email address, a name, whether they browse or also manage the network, who added them, and when they last signed in. If you list your business, we keep what you put in the listing. When someone on the list recommends a business through the network's Recommend a business form, we keep what they send, with their own email address, for the network's admins to review; once they dismiss a recommendation or invite the business, it is deleted 180 days later, and they can delete any at once.
All of it is stored with Netlify, our web host, in its storage service, Netlify Blobs. Your sign in code is emailed to you through Google, from our Google Workspace account, so Google handles your address to deliver it. Codes and sign in records are stored only as one way keyed hashes, which cannot be turned back into a code. Signing in sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in for 60 days of use; it holds a random number and nothing else.
To leave the network, or to have your details or your listing deleted, email jesse@welshburtongroup.com.
Hosting
Netlify serves the site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse, which includes slowing down repeated use of the forms, and it may keep it for a short time in its request logs. The site's own code does not save it anywhere.
Changes
If this changes, for example if we add analytics, this page will say so first. Last updated October 2026.
